| Details | The MIS Club will be hosting a general meeting on October 22nd, 2009 at 5:00pm. We would like to inform you of this meeting and also request your attendance.
The Executive Board of the MIS Club has been working together on ways for the club to grow and we are holding this meeting to gain feedback from our members and our faculty.
The format of the meeting will include a short introduction of the Executive Board and our positions. We will then have the professors attending introduce themselves as well as which courses they teach and any research they may be involved in. After that, we will turn the discussion over to our members and guide them through discussions regarding all aspects of the club. Some of the main topics we are going to cover include the following: Networking Opportunities, Job Opportunities, Leadership Positions, Campus Involvement and Meeting Professors and Classmates.
